Every Journey Is Unique — Tailored to Your Interests.
Our Philosophy
At Connecting Today’s China, we believe true luxury is no longer defined by opulence or exclusivity, but by authentic connection.
The new definition of luxury travel is to step into local life — to share a meal, a story, or a quiet moment with the people who bring a destination to life.
Our programs are thoughtfully crafted for curious minds and cultured travellers who seek more than sightseeing. Each journey offers a genuine slice of everyday China, blending comfort with cultural depth to provide both insight and ease.
Every trip is designed to help you see, feel, and understand China from the inside out — authentic, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Connecting Today’s China was founded by Dr. Shue, a cultural anthropologist with double PhDs and a lifelong passion for immersive learning.
Our mission is to connect people with the real China—through language, culture, and transformative experiences.
At Connecting Today’s China, we turn language learning and travelling into a life-changing cultural discovery. Through global partnerships with multicultural organisations, we create immersive, authentic experiences that go far beyond the normal tour group—helping learners and curious-minded people connect, communicate, and thrive in today’s China.
